Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The State Tax Committee held a meeting with the Director of the International Relations Department of the Chonnam National University (Republic of Korea) Cho Joon Sik and the coordinator of postgraduate programs of the same department Janby Kang.

During the meeting, the guests elaborated on the presentation of their educational institution, noting that Chonnam National University (CNU), founded in 1952, is among the ten best state universities in the Republic of Korea.

Today, more than 33 thousand citizens of the Republic of Korea and about two thousand students from 75 countries of the world study at the university in various fields and specialties. The number of students from Uzbekistan exceeds 500 people, in connection with which he ranks second in the number of foreign students of the university after China.

The training specification was also noted - it is an economic, financial and tax administration area. In this regard, the parties discussed the possibility of internship by students of the Chonnam National University, who are citizens of Uzbekistan, in the State Tax Committee and regional structures of tax authorities. Upon completion of training, graduates of this university will be attracted to work in the state tax service bodies of our country.

At the end of the meeting, the parties signed a Memorandum of Understanding, which will help build staff capacity for the effective execution of tasks assigned to the STC, as well as bilateral cooperation in the field of effective training and internship programs.
