Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Government resolution approved the Administrative Regulations for the provision of public services to confirm force majeure circumstances (force majeure).

The regulation establishes the procedure for the provision of public services to confirm force majeure circumstances that began or occurred in Uzbekistan, in accordance with the terms of foreign trade transactions, international financial or investment agreements and international treaties.

According to the Regulations, force majeure circumstances are confirmed by the issuance of a certificate in electronic form, which is certified by an electronic digital signature of an authorized person and issued with a QR code.

The decision to issue or refuse to issue a certificate to the applicant is made by the authorized body within 13 working days from the date of receipt of the request.

To obtain a certificate, the applicant provides the following documents:

copy of the contract, additional agreement and their specification;

documents confirming the volume of fulfilled obligations under the contract.

It is strictly forbidden to demand from the applicant other information and documents, except for the above.

For the issuance of a certificate, a fee of 90 percent of the BRF (270,000 soums) is charged.

The certificate is issued for an indefinite period.
