Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- As a result of operational search activities carried out by the State Security Service (SSS) in the field of transport, several cases of violations of the law were identified in the system of Toshshakhartranskhizmat JSC.

In particular, the Chairman of the Board of JSC Toshshahartranskhizmat D.A., Chief Engineer A.A. and heads of branches of the 1st and 8th bus parks T.D. and I.B. entered into a conspiracy and caused great economic damage to the interests of the state by looting spare parts and fuel products from bus depots.

Currently, the Investigation Department of the State Security Service has opened a criminal case against officials of Toshshahartranskhizmat JSC and other persons under Articles 167 (theft or embezzlement) and Article 209 (hiring fraud) of the Criminal Code.

A preventive measure in the form of “arrest” was applied to the chairman and chief engineer of Toshshahartranskhizmat JSC, as well as to the heads of branches of the 1st and 8th bus depots.
