Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — The government of Uzbekistan has adopted a resolution "On the Procedure for Forming the State Order for the Training of Higher Education Specialists."

According to the document, starting from the 2025/2026 academic year, the state order for training specialists with higher education will be determined through a Special Electronic Platform. This platform will operate based on data analysis and labor market needs, ensuring a more precise and adaptable planning process.

The demand for specialists will be assessed over a four-year period, with annual adjustments based on labor market trends, regional needs, and workforce demands in the social sector and key economic industries.

When forming the state order, the electronic platform will take into account the following data:

The number of officially employed individuals across various economic sectors.

Employment statistics of graduates from public and private universities.

The labor resource balance, including the number of job vacancies and employment levels by sector.

Data from the NEMIS system on graduates and higher education institutions.

The resolution also provides for the systematization and processing of this data to inform higher authorities, identify employer needs for specialists with higher education, and determine priority areas for workforce training to ensure balanced economic development.

Starting in 2025, the parameters of the state order for higher education specialists will be approved annually by the State Commission for Admissions to Educational Institutions by 1 May, based on forecasted labor market demand.
