Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) - In order to monitor the state of development of non-cash payments, as well as familiarize with the conditions created in Tashkent region for users of payment services, a working group created from among the leadership of the Central Bank of the Republic of Uzbekistan conducted a corresponding study with a visit to places.

In particular, in the process of monitoring, the quality and continuity of the provision of services to the population within the framework of the existing infrastructure of retail payment systems, the sufficiency and state of functioning of payment terminals used when making payments with bank cards in trade and service enterprises were considered.

During the meeting, business entities were explained the convenience and capabilities of terminals of national payment systems, provided information on the correct and efficient use of them, as well as information on the implementation of all payments through the terminals, including contactless payments.

In addition, the working group also organized meetings in large enterprises and institutions of the region, where the advantages and convenience of cashless payments using bank cards were announced.
