Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The President of Uzbekistan has issued an order on the parameters of the state order for admission to public higher educational institutions for the 2024/2025 academic year.
According to the order, the state order parameters for admission to public higher educational institutions for the 2024/2025 academic year have been approved as follows:
- Undergraduate (Full-time): 34,838 students
- Graduate: 9,365 students
Additionally, the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, and Innovation will present proposals to the State Commission within a week for the distribution of:
- 1,200 state grants allocated to foreign higher educational institutions and their branches operating in the republic, as well as to non-state higher educational institutions.
- 2,000 state grants allocated to women, in collaboration with the Committee for Family and Women.
- 30 state grants allocated to young compatriots living abroad who wish to study in the fields of "Uzbek language and literature," "history," "culture," "art and crafts."
Furthermore, applicants who have a privilege in the form of additional points added to their scored points when entering public higher educational institutions, and who have scored the passing mark or more in their chosen field of education for the 2024/2025 academic year, will be recommended for enrollment as students on the basis of a state grant or a fee-paying contract within an additional quota according to their scored points.
