Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The State Committee for Tourism Development is taking measures to improve the quality of services and infrastructure in the tourism industry with the introduction of innovations. To this end, innovative projects and international experiences are being studied that will increase employment and the export of tourism services.

As a continuation in this direction, the State Committee for Tourism will annually organize the festival “Factory of business ideas in the field of tourism”, which is provided for in the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan “On measures for the further development of the tourism sector in the Republic of Uzbekistan”.

These business ideas should be aimed at creating modern tourism products and services with innovative solutions.

After analyzing all the proposals received, the winners of the festival of the best projects will be determined and co-financed by grants allocated by the extrabudgetary Tourism Support Fund under the State Committee for Tourism Development.

This measure allows the creation of new types of tourism products based on the potential of the country’s regions, as well as increasing the export of tourism services.
