Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The state budget of Uzbekistan received 24.2 trillion soums of tax revenues in January-July 2018, which is 43.1% higher compared to the same period of last year, UzA reported quoting the State Tax Committee.

About 430,000 legal entities work in Uzbekistan. The number of entrepreneurs increased by 30,000 compared to last year. The number of individual entrepreneurs increased to 230,000.

Receipts from chemical industry enterprises in the first half of 2018 made up 209 billion soums, which is 87.3% more compared to the same period in 2017.

Trade enterprises paid taxes fpr 3.3 trillion soums in the reporting period, which is 70.7% higher compared to the same period of 2017. Receipts from construction companies reached 1 trillion soums, growth - 70.6%.

From food industry enterprises 833.5 billion soums were received, catering enterprises - 104.6 billion soums, from individual entrepreneurs, due to local revenues, duties and fees - 2.9 trillion soums. Thus, growth was almost 1.5 times higher than in the same period last year.
