The first-level award in science and technology was granted to Ashraf Ahmedov for a cycle of monographs “Studying scientific heritage of the scientists of Central Asia, who conducted research in scientific centers in 10-15 centuries” (on the example of Baghdad academy, Khorezm Mamun academy and scientific schools of Samarkand).

The second-level state awards in science and technology was given to Turabek Dolimov and Vitaly Troitsky for monograph “Evolutional geology”, in literature to Omon Mukhtorov for two-volume book “Navoi and artist Abulhair”, and in arts and architecture to Olim Abdiyev, Orif Rashidov and Abdusafikhon Rahmonov for practical work to preserve traditions and artistic heritage of architecture of Bukhara region in the years of independence.
