Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations (MES) of Uzbekistan rescued a child from a burning house in the Uchtepa district of Tashkent, according to the ministry’s press service.

The report of a fire in a multi-story building located in the "Kukhna Chuponota" mahalla was received at 13:04. By 13:13, three fire and rescue teams had arrived at the scene. The fire was fully extinguished by 13:29.

During the firefighting efforts, rescuers discovered a child inside the premises. The boy was handed over to medical personnel, and his condition is currently stable.

The fire damaged household appliances over an area of 20 square meters. An investigation is currently underway to determine the cause of the fire and assess the material damage.
