Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- As previously reported, due to abnormal cold at the Shimoliy Nishon compressor station of the Shurtan oil and gas production department, owned by Uzbekneftegaz JSC, 3 gas pumping units were urgently stopped.

It was also reported about emergency shutdowns of the 1st gas pumping unit of the compressor station No. 2 at the Zevarda field of the Mubarek Oil and Gas Production Department and 2 gas pumping units of the compressor station No. 2 at the Denizkul field and the 1st gas pumping unit at the Zhanubiy Kemachi field .

Members of the "Working Group" arrived at production facilities located in Kashkadarya region to study on the spot emergency stops and their causes. Within 24 hours, despite the low air temperatures, work was organized and the necessary measures were taken to restart the gas compressor units.

As a result, the operation of 2 gas pumping units at the Denizkul compressor station No. 2 of the Mubarek Oil and Gas Production Department and the 1st gas pumping unit at the Zevarda field and 1 at the Zhanubiy Kemachi compressor station were fully restored.

At present, the operation of all compressor stations of the Mubarek oil and gas production department has been restored, and the volume of gas production at the fields has been fully restored.

Also, the operational HQs, created at technological facilities on behalf of the Chairman of the Board, take all necessary measures to ensure stable, uninterrupted operation of compressor stations and installations.

In particular, work continues on the treatment with non-freezing chemicals on pipelines and process equipment, ensuring the uninterrupted operation of instrumentation, electrical installations and other equipment at cold temperatures.
