Sports motorcycle rider fined for speeding

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — In Tashkent, the rider of a BMW S1000 RR sports motorcycle was held administratively responsible for exceeding the speed limit.

The motorcyclist accelerated to 310 km/h and then published a video of his ride on social media. According to the spokesperson of the Department of Internal Affairs of Tashkent, Kahramon Khudoyberganov, the violator was penalized for this offense.

It was revealed that the rider, who identifies himself as Uzbekistan’s first motorcycle blogger, stated that the footage was recorded in August of the previous year. He added that he did not intend to encourage such behavior among young people and other viewers.

Additionally, there is another video online where the rider accelerates to 299 km/h on a Yamaha R1 motorcycle. The video shows that the motorcyclist repeatedly violated speed limits. These videos are still available on his Instagram page.

Khudoyberganov did not specify whether the rider would face further charges for other recorded violations. Currently, it is known that an administrative protocol was filed for exceeding the speed limit by more than 40 km/h, in accordance with Part 3 of Article 128-3 of the Administrative Code. The violator was fined 9 sizes of basic estimated value, which equals 3.37 million soums.
