Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 21 and 22 May 2019 in the city of Krasnogorsk, Moscow region (Russian Federation), the annual ninth international forum on practical security "Positive Hack Days" (PHDays) was held.
The event, organized by Positive Technologies (Russian Federation), brought together experts from all over the world to share practical experience from the whole world on cyber defense and the elite of the hacker world, leaders of government information security agencies, representatives of big business and young scientists.
It should be particularly noted that at the PHDays international forum on practical security, cyber defense specialists from Uzbekistan took part in an individual contest “Network village”, task of which was to go through several vulnerable services and collect flags. This competition was attended by experts from different countries. According to the results of the individual competition, specialists of Uzbekistan took a worthy third prize.
The Positive Hack Days forum takes into account the needs of the entire community and raises the most pressing issues of information security, such as innovations in the field of hacking information systems and practical security methods; approaches to information security in the era of the Internet of Things, protection of critical infrastructure; organization of the physical security of information resources; countering fraud and cybercrime; detection and investigation of information security incidents; creation and improvement of information security products; development of secure software development (SSDL) techniques.
