Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Representatives of the Khokimiyat of Samarkand region held online negotiations with the head of the Spanish company NIKAMI Enterprise, Norberto Karina, at which they discussed promising areas of mutually beneficial cooperation, Dunyo reported.

Assistance in organizing a video conference was provided by the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Spain. According to the diplomatic mission, according to the Memorandum signed in 2019 between the Khokimiyat of Samarkand region and NIKAMI Enterprise, it is planned to create a number of joint ventures in the Bulungur, Akdarya and Kattakurgan regions of this region of the republic.

In particular, the parties agreed to create three joint ventures to implement the following projects:

- construction of a mini-energy wind station using water turbine technologies;

- production of modern high protein feed for fisheries;

- creation of a line for the production of metal structures for the assembly of modern greenhouse structures.

Taking into account quarantine measures in connection with the COVID-19 coronavirus pandemic, as well as the possibilities of modern digital communications, the parties decided to open the first joint venture in the Bulungur district of the Samarkand region.

As a result, on 11 May 2020, the first joint venture NIKAMI FENIX Tech was registered with the Ministry of Justice. It will be involved in the implementation of two investment projects - the construction of a mini-energy wind farm using water turbine technologies and the creation of the production of modern high-protein fodder for fisheries.
