Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) - Representatives of the Uzbek company El Golazo paid a working visit to the capital of Spain in order to attract leading football clubs in the world to organize internships and advanced training for young domestic football players and to promote Uzbek football, Dunyo news agency reported.

Currently, the company is actively cooperating with such Spanish clubs as Real, Barcelona, Atlético, Alcorcon and intends to implement a number of projects with these clubs in Uzbekistan.

During the visit, representatives of Uzbekistan participated in a seminar organized by the Real Madrid Foundation and dedicated to the management of the club’s academy, the development of training session methodology, and the selection of players.

With the assistance of the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Madrid, representatives of El Golazo also met with officials of the Spanish Football Federation and Alcorcon Club, who expressed their willingness to support young Uzbek coaches, players and help them improve their skills with their Spanish colleagues.

Along with this, a preliminary agreement was also reached with the famous football club Barcelona to hold a two-week football campus in April in Tashkent for young soccer players and children aged 6 to 18 years.

A tripartite agreement is expected between the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Spain, the Real Madrid Foundation and El Golazo to create sports schools in Tashkent and Samarkand.
