Spain hammered Spain with the score 4-0 to defend their European Champions title, won four years ago in Austria and Switzerland.
David Silva opened the score on 14 minutes and Jordi Alba doubled Spain’s lead on 41 minutes.
Fernando Torres netted Spain’s third goal on 84 minutes, while Juan Mata scored another goal just after four minutes.
With this victory, Spain secured a unique place in football's long history by becoming the first team to win three successive major tournaments.
