South-western regional branch of Unitel marks its third anniversary
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- South-western regional branch of Unitel LLC, serving Bukhara and Navoi regions, marked its third anniversary, single communication operator Beeline (Unitel LLC and Buzton JV LLC) said on Monday, 25 January.

Andrei Anisimov, Unitel LLC Regional Development Director, said: “South-western regional branch units two powerful industrial-agriculture regions and during three years where we expended Beeline network by three times. Since the launch of the branch, our subscribers’ base has jumped seven times and over 400 service points help us to keep good quality of services.”

Director of Unitel’s South-western regional branch noted: “Three years of intensive work was fruitful. Thanks to efforts of the branch’s staff Beeline’s trade network rose 30 times, which allows to server hundred thousand people. Introduction of EDGE technology in both regions allows us to promote USB-modems both in mass and business markets.”

Launch of Beeline Business became new stage for development of the branch. Thousand of subscribers use Beeline mobile and fixed communication, as well as broadband Internet services. Among clients are Bukhara refinery, Bukhoropakhtasanoar, Kyzylkumcement, Navoiazot, and others.

South-western regional branch is pioneer in development of FTTB technology (Fiber To The Building), which allows to increase Internet speed up to 100 megabit per second. In summer 2009, the FTTB network was launched in Zarafshan city and similar network will soon be commissioned at Uchkuduk. Bukhara and Navoi will be next.
