According to Navoi FIEZ, the delegation of South Korea led by Chairman of the Board of Korean Air Yang Ho Cho visited the economic zone on 16 June. The delegation included representatives of Korean Air, Hanjin Group and Inha University.

During the visit, the Korean delegation was acquainted with the conditions created for foreign investors in Navoi FIEZ, as well as international intermodal logistics center Navoi and with the activities of Agrofresh.

On 17 June, the delegation of representatives of American Chamber of Commerce in Uzbekistan headed by President Donald Nicholson II visited Navoi FIEZ.

During the visit, the delegation familiarized with the conditions created for foreign investors in Navoi FIEZ and activities of O’zEraeCable and O’zMinda.

Navoi FIEZ was created in line with the presidential decree from 2 December 2012. The zone has been established on the territory of one of the most developed industrial centers of Uzbekistan, in Navoi region.

Offering foreign investors a wide range of opportunities for doing business and initially endowing them with important competitive advantages, the Navoi FIEZ provides all the necessary conditions for establishment of industrial complexes with full production cycle from raw materials to manufacturing finished goods.

According to the website of Navoi FIEZ, currently 18 enterprises were registered in the territory of the economic zone.
