The visit is aimed at further developing trade-economic and investment cooperation between the Uzbek and Korean businesses.

The Korean delegation includes representatives of companies, engaged in production of timber-plastic composite materials, energy saving lamps, plastic, car components, polyethylene products, ICT and ecologic technologies.

Within the visit, four-sided negotiations of business circles and cooperation exchange took place at International Hotel Tashkent on 5 July 2012. The sides considered issues of mutual cooperation among business circles of two states.

The event is aimed at studying experience of South Korea in public procurement, development of trade-economic relations, cooperation between businesses of Uzbekistan and South Korea, discuss perspectives of cooperation.

On 6 July, the delegation will participate at the seminar “Investment opportunities of Uzbekistan” at the Angren Logistic Center and visit Angren special industrial zone.
