South Korean company plans to establish textile production in Uzbekistan

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Negotiations were held at the Embassy of Uzbekistan with the head of the South Korean company Magenta Apparel Group No Myung Joon.

According to the Dunyo agency, at the meeting, a company representative spoke about plans to organize the production of finished textile products in Uzbekistan. The products will be aimed at young people, given the popularity of youth clothing in South Korea.

Magenta Apparel Group has expressed its determination to increase trade volumes and is considering the prospect of creating a manufacturing plant in Uzbekistan.

Currently, the company has already recruited 3 administrative employees locally, and when the enterprise is launched, it is planned to create 30 jobs, with a subsequent increase to 100. All manufactured products will be intended for export.

Magenta Apparel Group ordered 5 thousand pieces of textile products from a local company to study production possibilities. These products will be exported to South Korea to gauge demand.

It is expected that in the near future the head of the company will visit Uzbekistan to discuss plans and prepare the necessary documents.
