Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Chairman of the Tourism Committee Umid Shadiev held a meeting in Seoul with the Executive Director of the Korea Tourism Organization Lee Hak Chu.

Lee Hak Chu highlighted the growing interest in Uzbekistan in South Korea, due to the country’s rich cultural and tourism potential, as well as the development of new types of tourism.

As a result of the meeting, agreements were reached for the participation of the Korean organization in the Tashkent International Tourism Fair in November 2024, and for joint marketing activities to promote Uzbekistan’s tourism potential.
