“Abu Mansur Maturidi is the pride not only of the brotherly Uzbek people, but also of all Turkic peoples who have made a significant contribution to the development of the Ummah, strengthening the humanistic and rational foundations of holy Islam,” he said. - Studying the teachings of Maturidi in this century of globalization serves as spiritual immunity against various ideological threats, fanatical, radical worldviews that create erroneous ideas about our religion. This is extremely relevant and important for counteracting the poisoning of the consciousness of youth with various destructive ideas.
That is why the organization of this international conference in Samarkand is very timely and important for many states of the modern world. Such international conferences will provide an opportunity for the wide dissemination and study of the views of Maturidi.
In the 9th century, when in Movarounnahr and in the territories where Islam was widespread, their teachings sought to introduce a number of trends, such as “mutasilia”, “jahmiya”, “carromia”, the great thinker from Samarkand Abu Mansur Maturidi did his best to with the mind and instructions to prove to them, on the basis of the Qur'an and Hadith, the fidelity of the “madhhab ahli sunnah val zhamoa”. The doctrine he founded with the help of followers gradually spread throughout the world and laid the foundation for the unification of society and the formation of immunity against radical fundamentalist movements.
It should be noted that the teachings of Maturidy and the dissemination of his ideas correspond to many goals and objectives outlined in the Strategy for the development of the country in 2017-2021, adopted at the initiative of the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev. In Uzbekistan, consistent reforms are being carried out in all directions, including in the religious education sphere.
The best thinkers of the Islamic world grew up on Uzbek soil. Today in the country much attention is paid to the scientific and spiritual heritage of these people. The research work carried out in this area is well established. It is noteworthy that in order to strengthen scientific research in this direction over the past three years, centers of international importance have been created. There is an exchange of views, information.
All this is watched with great interest by the whole world, including in Turkey. We sincerely rejoice at the achievements of fraternal Uzbekistan.
