Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Son-in-law of the President of Uzbekistan Otabek Umarov was elected as the chairman of the Uzbekistan Triathlon Federation.

Today, an extraordinary report and election conference of the Uzbekistan triathlon federation was held in the building of the National Olympic Committee.

Otabek Umarov was nominated for the post of chairman. Those present unanimously supported the candidate and Umarov became the new head of the Uzbekistan triathlon federation.

The former athlete and entrepreneur Farrukh Nosirov was elected as the first deputy chairman.
