Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- In January-December 2023, 86,030 units of small businesses (excluding farms and dekhkan farms) were created across Uzbekistan, the Statistics Agency of Uzbekistan said.

They were distributed by type of economic activity as follows:

• in trade – 33,470 units.
• in industry – 14,101 units.
• in agriculture, forestry and fisheries – 9,388 units.
• in the accommodation and food industry – 5,955 units.
• in construction – 4,859 units.
• in transportation and storage – 3,946 units.
• in the information and communications industry – 2,932 units.
• in healthcare and social services – 1,458 units.
• in other industries – 9,921 units.
