Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) —  Some 48,705 new small business entities (excluding farming and dehkan enterprises) were created in Uzbekistan from January to July 2024, according to preliminary data from the Statistics Agency.

The breakdown of these new entities by economic activity is as follows:

- Trade: 17,386 units

- Industry: 9,029 units

- Agriculture, Forestry, and Fishing: 5,647 units

- Accommodation and Food Services: 4,125 units

- Construction: 2,351 units

- Information and Communication: 1,894 units

- Transportation and Storage: 1,556 units

- Healthcare and Social Services: 940 units

- Other Sectors: 5,777 units
