Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — In Uzbekistan, over 481,000 employers have failed to provide insurance for their employees, according to the State Labor Inspection of Uzbekistan.

The highest number of violations was identified in Tashkent, as well as in the Samarkand, Tashkent, and Fergana regions. The fewest violations were registered in the Syrdarya and Jizzakh regions.

According to the legislation, employers are required to insure their employees against accidents, occupational diseases, and other health-related risks.
