Total volume of utilized investments in fixed capital in national currency reached 12.216 trillion soums in nine months of 2011.
In January-September 2011, 59,100 buildings or 59,600 apartments with the total space of 7.401 million square meters (+3.5% year-on-year), including 5.776 million square meters (+13.7%) in the rural area, were built and put into operation.
In the reporting period, 6,100 typical apartment buildings (taking into account buildings from 2010) with the space of 890,500 square meters were built and put into operation in the rural area. Some 512.2 billion soums of investments were utilized for their construction, including 305.9 billion soums of Qishloq Qurilish Bank credits – 59.7% of their volume.
Out of the total investments utilized in the non-production sphere 317.9 billion soums (7.7% of their volume) were used in construction of education establishments, 218 billion soums (5.3%) – in communal construction, 292.1 billion soums (7.1%) - in construction of medical establishments.
About 31 billion soums of investments were used for construction and reconstruction of academic lyceums and vocational colleges, which made up 0.8% of investments in the non-production sphere and 9.8% of investments in education.
Some 126.4 billion soums of investments were used for new construction and capital reconstruction of hospitals and out-patient departments, 11.3 billion soums – for construction and capital reconstruction of other health care projects, which made up 43.3% and 3.9% respectively of investments in public health sector.
About 107.7 billion soums were used for construction of water-supply networks, of which 51.2 billion soums – budgetary funds (47.5% of their total volume), 25.1 billion soums - foreign investments and credits (23.3%), 11.5 billion soums – means of population (10.7%). 9.8 billion soums were used for construction of gas networks, of which 9.8 billion soums (100,0%) - means of population.
Construction activity
In January-September 2011, construction works were fulfilled to the amount of 6.651 trillion soums, which grew by 8.1% compared to January-September 2010.
Out of the total volume of construction works, about 79.7% fell to share of new construction, reconstruction, expansion and technical re-equipment of enterprises, 18.9% – on capital and current repair, and 1.4% – on other contract works.
