As reported earlier, the company presented iPhone 5 on 12 September 2012. Apple started to receive pre-orders on 14 September and started to sell handsets at its shops from 21 September.

More than 60 percent of all iOS devices are now running the latest version of Apple's mobile operating system, iOS 6, according to new data from online advertising firm Chitika.
Operation system iOS 6 can be installed on such smartphones as iPhone 4, 4S and 3GS, tablet computers iPad of the second and third generations, as well as multimedia players iPodtouch of the fourth generation. New iPhone 5 and iPodtouch of the fifth generation already use iOS 6.
