Some 124 organizations receive licenses for tourism activities

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- About 10 new entities started their activities in tourism market of Uzbekistan in line with the protocol No. 13 of the session of the Commission of the Cabinet of Ministers of Uzbekistan on licensing tourism activity, Uzbektourism national company said.

Among licensees, which received right to carry out hotel activities, are Azia Center Dzyudo, Andijon, Omad Biznes Zarafshon, Plaza Lux, Torgovaya Firma Partiya, which registered in Andijan and Navoi regions, as well as Tashkent city.

Go Next Tour, Solo Consulting, Excellent Asian Tour, Azaria Support, and Vita Plyus Shifo received licenses to operate as tour operators and tour agents.

Uzbektourism said that some 124 tourism enterprises were founded in 2011, which grew by 33 year-on-year. Some 69 of them are working as tour operators and tour agents, while 55 render hotel services.

Overall, there are 828 registered tourism organizations in Uzbekistan, of which 510 are tour companies and 318 are hotels.
