President of Uzbekistan Islam Karimov signed a resolution “On programme on construction of individual houses on standard projects in rural areas for 2013”.

UzA news agency reported that some 635 houses on standard projects were constructed in Tashkent region in 2010 and 680 houses in 2011. Some 1,050 houses will be built in 2013.

The report said that houses on standard projects, which are commissioned in rural areas, help to improve life standards of population in rural areas and develop rural infrastructure.

Director of Tashkent regional branch of engineering company Qishloq Qurilish Invest Dilshod Kamolov said that lands for construction of new houses were allocated. He said that houses will be built in 41 settlements.

In particular, houses will be constructed in Zangiata, Qibray, Urtachirchiq and Yuqorichirchiq districts of Tashkent region.

As earlier reported, Uzbekistan will construct 10,000 houses in 2013 within the programme on building individual houses on standard projects in rural areas.
