Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- As reported, 2 solar photoelectric power stations with a capacity of 100 MW each were put into operation in Navoi and Samarkand regions. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Energy.

At power plants from the beginning of 2022 to the present:

- generated 411 million kWh of electricity;

- as a result, 124 million cubic meters of natural gas were saved;

- emissions of 164 thousand tons of harmful gases into the atmosphere were prevented.

For reference, this amount of electricity can potentially cover the annual consumption of about 140,000 households.
