Soglom Avlod Uchun to send aid to Karakalpakstan
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Health train, organized by international charity fund “Soglom Avlod Uchun” (For Health Generation) in cooperation with Uzbekistan Temir Yollari, will head on Tashkent-Jaslik-Karakalpakiya-Tashkent route on 6 October 2012.

The press service of the fund said that Soglom Avlod Uchun organized the humanitarian campaign in cooperation with Uzbekistan Temir Yollari from 6 to 16 October 2012.

The campaign is aimed at supporting population, who needs social support, and rendering them medical and humanitarian assistance.

The train includes highly skilled medical workers. After arriving to places, they will examine local population, first of all, women and children. Special attention will be paid to children with limited abilities, families with many children, and others.

The train also includes humanitarian aid, which includes medicaments, hygienic products, medical goods, vitamins, food products, and clothes for US$939,600 and 41.4 million soums.

AmeriCares (USA), Uzfarmsanoat, Dori-Darmon, Nestle-Uzbekistan, Dori Ta’minot, Jurabek laboratories, Tekhnofarm, Aziz Milk Food and others acted as sponsors of the charity campaign.

In 2012, Soglom Avlod Uchun organized health trains to Navoi, Surkhandarya and Kashkadarya regions of Uzbekistan. Over 3,100 people were examined during these campaigns.

Population received humanitarian aids, which includes medicaments, hygienic and medical goods, multi-vitamins, clothes, and other products for US$816,200 and 58.3 million soums.
