Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A resolution of the President “On organizing the activities of the Ministry to support the makhalla and family of the Republic of Uzbekistan” was adopted.

In accordance with the resolution, under the terms of transport and medical services, the first deputy minister for support of the mahalla and family is equated with the minister, as well as the first deputy heads of the territorial divisions of the Ministry - to the chiefs of territorial divisions of the Ministry.

In each makhalla, on the basis of public-private partnerships, a complex of citizens’ self-government bodies will be built through the active involvement of business entities - legal entities. 

To carry out entrepreneurial activities, citizens‘ gatherings will be allocated soft loans on the basis of social programs, including the programs “Every Family is an Entrepreneur”, “Yoshlar - kelajagimiz”and “Craft Development Program”.

The resolution also established the basic conditions of public-private partnership.

The selection of land for the construction of complexes will be carried out by local executive authorities in coordination with the Ministry.

Until 1 July 2020, construction works (reconstruction, repair) of buildings of the Center Mahalla complexes in the centers of the Republic of Karakalpakstan, regions and the city of Tashkent, districts and cities will be completed.

The resolution approved the organizational structure of the Ministry to support the mahalla and the family, consisting of 99 staff units, the structure of the central apparatus of the Ministry, as well as the typical structures of territorial administrations and departments.
