Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — On 2 May 2025, First Deputy Chairman of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis Sodik Safayev met with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Cyprus to Uzbekistan, Kypros Giorgallis.

During the meeting, both sides emphasized the steady development of bilateral relations between Uzbekistan and Cyprus in recent years.

Special attention was given to prospects for strengthening interparliamentary cooperation. The parties agreed on the importance of enhancing dialogue between the two countries’ legislative bodies, including the exchange of delegations and experience in lawmaking.
