SOCAR, Uzbekneftegaz cooperate in environment protection

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- State Oil Company of Azerbaijan Republic (SOCAR) and Uzbekneftegaz national holding company completed the first stage of cooperation in environment protection, Azerbaijan’s Ecol Engineering said in a statement.

Ecol Engineering said the sides formed a working group on cleaning of oil-cut soil, sewage and oil utilization.

In December, the working group carried out monitoring of oil mining department of Mubarekneftegaz in Kashkadarya region of Uzbekistan.

UzLITIneftgaz Institute will develop project and expenses documentation on the project and present it to the working group.
