The issue of searching for promising technologies and directions that will come to the fore and influence the future is also becoming relevant.
First Deputy Minister for the Development of Information Technologies and Communications Oleg Pekos held a meeting with representatives of Scope Investment LLC. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry.
During the meeting, the possibilities of the Scope Investment for the introduction of smart city technologies in Uzbekistan, the implementation of the company's technological solutions in improving the efficiency of overall city management were discussed.
It is known that Scope Investment is a company located in the United Arab Emirates and providing services in the fields of smart cities, healthcare, automotive, real estate and retail. The company is currently exploring various investment opportunities in Uzbekistan.
At the meeting, the company came up with proposals to turn many of Uzbekistan's major cities into smart cities by investing in the right capabilities.
In particular, it was proposed to improve the efficiency of integrated city management with the help of smart traffic lights, to introduce services certified by European and American countries in large cities of Uzbekistan, such as Tashkent, Samarkand and Bukhara.
First Deputy Minister of ICT Oleg Pekos stressed the importance of implementing such projects and expressed his readiness to provide the necessary infrastructure.
