In the structure of GDP by forms of ownership, the share of the non-state sector is 78.4% (in January-June 2008 - 76.3%) and that of the state sector - 21.6% (in January-June 2008 - 23.7%).
Small business entities produced 40.9% of the total volume of GDP, which was 0.7 percenatge points higher than in January-June 2008 (40.2%). Out of the total volume of GDP produced by small business entities, the share of small enterprises and microfirms was 24.6% or 1.9% more than in January-June 2008 (22.7%).
The significant growth of the real volume of gross regional product was observed in the city of Tashkent (13.6%), Namangan region (10.8%), Andijan region (10.6%), Surkhandarya region (9.1%), Jizzakh region (8.7%) and Syrdarya region (8.7%).
