The glass pool will be suspended between Embassy Gardens’ two 10-storey residential buildings, with the comms team tasked with raising awareness of the development in the Nine Elms area before the sales launch on 17 September.
The apartment complex is part of the second phase of development in the Battersea area that will see the creation of nearly 2,000 new homes, gardens and a riverfront walkway spanning from Embassy Gardens to Battersea Park.
The pool which will be entirely transparent, will be 25m long, 5m wide and 3m deep, with a water depth of 1.2m and 20cm thick glass.
The special constructions will be used to ensure safety of the pool. The water will be regularly filtered in the pool to keep it clean.
The idea came from Sean Mulryan, Chairman and CEO of Ballymore Group, who are responsible for the Embassy Gardens development with partners Eco World.
