According to the resolution, state enterprise “Khorezm trolleybus department” and Skoda Electric of the Czech Republic signed an agreement on supply of nine trolleybuses.

The resolution said that Fund for Reconstruction and Development of Uzbekistan will issue loan for 3.543 million euros to finance the contract. The loan will be refinanced by Uzpromstroybank.

The loan is issued for 10 years with three-year grace period. The interest rate is set at 1.25%, including 0.25% margin of the refinancing bank.

The Government of Uzbekistan entrusted the Ministry of Finance to the project on purchase of nine trolleybuses to the investment programme for 2013.

Khorezm region administration entrusted to repair electric transport infrastructure, including contact networks, traction substations, fleet and repair base due to local budget within six months.
