Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- In Ferghana region, six people died, including three children, due to carbon monoxide poisoning.

The tragedy occurred due to the unexplained spread of carbon monoxide in the apartment.

The event occurred on 26 January at 12:30 in one of the apartments of a multi-storey building in the Vatan mahalla in the city of Margilan.

As a result of the incident, the spouses N. M. (born 1967) and Z. M. (born 1970), their daughter D. I. (born 1994) and grandchildren S. M. (born 2019) died born), M. J. (born 2017) and M. J. (born 2021).

According to the preliminary conclusion of the forensic medical examination, the death of six family members was caused by carbon monoxide poisoning and acute cardiorespiratory failure.

Investigations into this fact are currently underway.
