Cabinet of Ministers of Uzbekistan adopted a resolution "On programme of localization of production of ready products, spare parts and materials based on industrial cooperation for 2010", which was signed on 23 March.

The enterprise plans to produce 1,000 trade and industrial refrigerators and 10,000 refrigerators and deep-freezers under LG brand. The localization level of these products will be 56% and 15% respectively.

Sino started to produce LG refrigerators from December 2009. The project cost is US$9.8 million. In the first stage (till the end of 2010) it was planned to produce 50,000 LG refrigirators.

The plant will also produce this year 15,000 refrigerators and deep-freezers and increase their localization level to 41%. It will also manufacture 2,000 air-conditioners with localization level of 31%.

Sino plant was commissioned in 1973. The capacity of the plant makes up 250,000 refrigerators a year.
