Silk Road Samarkand presented at the festival of culture of Uzbekistan in London

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- These days, on 17 and 18 June, in London, not far from the Tower Bridge, the Uzbekistan Culture Festival is being held, which invites guests to get acquainted with oriental flavors, the famous Uzbek pilaf, the centuries-old traditions of Central Asian masters, as well as new locations, one of which is the Silk Road Samarkand Tourist Center.

This is the first time such a festival has been held in London. As part of the events for guests and residents of foggy Albion, an extensive program is presented where you can get acquainted with the cultural heritage, traditions, national dishes and beautiful locations of Uzbekistan and its regions. The presentation of national cuisine became the center of the festival, where the famous chef of Uzbekistan Bakhriddin Chusti cooked one ton of fragrant pilaf, as well as a variety of Uzbek delicacies created under the guidance of the best London Uzbek chef Muzaffar Sadikov. The organizers of the Festival, with the support of the Uzbek diaspora in London, were the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of Uzbekistan, the Embassy of Uzbekistan in London and the Vatandoshlar Foundation.

The pavilion of the Silk Road Samarkand Tourist Center attracted the special attention of the guests. Here the guests got acquainted with the activities of the Tourist Center, which includes 8 world-class hotels, an international congress center, as well as comfortable public spaces, parks, wellness areas, recreation and sports areas, conceptual restaurants and objects of cultural significance. In the space of the pavilion, platforms were organized for communication and networking of visitors with representatives of the Silk Road Samarkand center, where guests had the opportunity to communicate, get acquainted with the projects and space of the hotel center. For two days the pavilion was visited by guests.

Begzod Zufarov, director of the Silk Road Samarkand Tourist Center:

- It is a great honor for us to take part in such a large-scale Festival, which is being held in London for the first time. I would like to believe that the pavilion of the modern Silk Road Samarkand cluster presented here will attract the attention of guests and become a place where Londoners want to come again and again. After all, our complex, without a doubt, meets all international standards of hotel service and, I am sure, every guest will be impressed by the atmosphere created in our tourist center in Samarkand.

Introductory sessions were also organized at the venue of the Festival. So, at one of the stands they talk about the production of the famous Samarkand paper, exquisite dishes made of metal, clay and faience, cotton and silk fabrics. The cultural program on the stage was presented by popular artists and DJs from Samarkand, Bukhara, Khiva and Tashkent.

Without a doubt, these two days of the Uzbekistan Festival in London left the most pleasant impressions on the guests, who expressed a great desire to visit and get to know Uzbekistan even closer.
