Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Deputy Prime Minister - Minister of Tourism and Cultural Heritage, Rector of the Silk Road International University of Tourism and Cultural Heritage Aziz Abdukhakimov and President of North-West University Go Liksong signed a memorandum of cooperation.

The document is aimed at developing interaction, creating an academic bridge for the unhindered movement of students and teachers from universities in China and Uzbekistan. Aziz Abdukhakimov expressed his gratitude and noted the high appreciation of the cooperation between the two universities.

The memorandum, signed as part of the 120th anniversary of North-West University, aims to establish a Chinese-Uzbek scientific and technical international joint laboratory for archeology and the protection of cultural heritage.

It should be noted that the Sino-Uzbek Scientific and Technical International Joint Laboratory of Archeology and Cultural Heritage Protection will become an important component for China and Central Asia in the study of human resources and the environment. The Ministry of Science and Technology of China is a leading international center for research, education of gifted students and cultural exchange.
