Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 10 March, the Silent Film Festival, organized by the Uzbekkino National Agency in cooperation with the Goethe Institute, starts at the Youth Creativity Palace.
The festival will feature silent films of the classics of Uzbek and German cinema, dubbed by the musicians of the "Safo" group.
On the first day of the festival, a presentation of the documentary media project "Kinolektoriy" will take place with the participation of the director, director of the State Unitary Enterprise "Republican Cinema Fund" Eldzhon Abbasov and Doctor of Art History Nigora Karimova.
The festival program included such films as "The Minaret of Death", "The Adventures of Prince Ahmed" and "The Leper".
Admission to all events is free. The festival will last until 14 March.
