Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Diplomats from the Embassy of Uzbekistan held a meeting with Borut Jamnik, Chairman of the Management Board and CEO of the SID Bank for Development and Export, according to the Dunyo news agency.

During the negotiations, the head of the Slovenian bank expressed readiness for direct cooperation with Uzbek partner banks and financial institutions.

He also noted that through its partners in Slovenia, SID Bank is involved in the implementation of projects in Uzbekistan, including those in the pharmaceutical and telecommunications sectors. In particular, discussions were held on cooperation between Uztelecom and the Slovenian company Iskratel.

As a result of the meeting, the parties agreed on the allocation of special credit lines by SID Bank for Uzbek banks.
