Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The Shurtan gas chemical complex produced finished products worth 16.2 billion soums in 2023 as part of the localization program, which is 34% higher than in 2022. The company’s press service reports this.

Last year, products worth about 8.65 billion soums were sold.

As part of the program to reduce import volumes and industrial cooperation, import-substituting domestic products worth US$747,600 were developed using the existing capacities and capabilities of domestic enterprises.

In addition, at republican and international industrial fairs, 32 memoranda of agreement were concluded for 180.7 billion soums, and 49 contracts for the purchase of products and services were signed for 10.8 billion soums.

This year, within the framework of 9 projects, it is planned to produce products totaling 7.13 billion soums.

It is planned to develop import-substituting products worth US$309,600.
