Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The Minister of Digital Technologies of Uzbekistan Sherzod Shermatov called on young people to earn money in their country.
According to him, currently in Uzbekistan there is a need for 10 thousand young people who speak a foreign language at a high level. It is predicted that by the end of the year this need will increase to 70 thousand people.
Sherzod Shermatov noted that young people who speak foreign languages will receive support in finding employment.
“If you have a foreign language certificate or have a high level of language proficiency, we encourage you to fill out the questionnaire and provide information about yourself. We will contact you and help you get a job in an IT company!” said Sherzod Shermatov.
He emphasized that many young people today are thinking about making money abroad, not knowing about the opportunities to get a good income without leaving their country and loved ones.
He recalled that the state fully covers the costs of exams for young people who have received an international certificate in a foreign language.
The need for qualified young personnel is also related to the interest of large foreign companies in working in Uzbekistan, Shermatov emphasized.
“Even today we have young people working in such companies and earning from $4 thousand to $5 thousand,” he noted.
The minister noted that to work in the IT field it is not necessary to know programming.
“There are many other services that can be provided remotely. These are very broad possibilities. To work in such companies, knowledge of a foreign language and a little potential are enough,” the minister added.
