Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) —  Sherzod Kudbiyev, Chairman of the Tax Committee of Uzbekistan, held a meeting with Daniil Shuleyko, Global CEO of Yandex.

During the meeting, the parties discussed the results of fiscalization in passenger transportation through taxi aggregators. The implementation of transparent tax administration mechanisms has significantly increased tax revenue.

Initially, it was planned that the revenue in 2024 would amount to 100 billion soums. However, in just 10 months, 125 billion soums have already been collected, indicating the effectiveness of their joint efforts and the importance of introducing transparent tax instruments in this sector.

The parties agreed to continue their cooperation aimed at ensuring market transparency and legalizing other areas within the services sector.
