Uzbekistan U-19 national team

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Teenaged stars Ahmed Khalil of the UAE and Sherzodbek Karimov of Uzbekistan join Korea Republic’s Lee Jong Ho in the shortlist for the AFC Youth Player of the Year.

Khalil, who was named as the MVP of the recently concluded AFC U-19 Championship in Saudi Arabia, finds a place in the list, thanks to his match-winning exploits which saw the UAE clinch the title.

Karimov was the player-par-excellence for the Uzbeks who narrowly lost in the final to the UAE.

Lee was the MVP of the AFC U-16 Championship though Korea Republic lost to Iran in the final.
