Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — President of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, visited the Grand Pharm Logistics Hub located in the Zangiata district of Tashkent Region, within the "Tashkent Pharma Park" innovation cluster.
The center, covering an area of 10 hectares, was built as part of a project worth US$40 million. It includes a three-story administrative building, warehouses, a hotel, a dining hall, and dormitories, creating over 300 jobs. The warehouse area spans 50,000 square meters. The center is fully digitized and complies with international standards for the storage and distribution of pharmaceutical products.
Grand Pharm Logistics Hub offers storage and export services through the international SAP system and holds GDP and GSP certifications, along with licenses for customs warehouses and international transportation. To maintain high-quality standards, air cooling systems are installed throughout the center.
The hub has logistics connections with Russia, Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan, Kyrgyzstan, and several European countries, and its partnerships continue to expand. The project also includes "GPH Academy," which collaborates with higher education institutions and provides three practical training rooms. Over 3,000 pharmacists have undergone further training, and nearly thirty students have received scholarships and grants.
The president instructed relevant authorities to streamline the processes of storage and product clearance, reduce costs, and improve the accessibility of medicines.
